There's no doubt that Thailand is an amazing country. And even with the wild mix of old and new lifestyle differences, snarling lines of traffic, crazy smells and constant heat, it's still an amazing place. Assuming that you do eventually come to Thailand, the first thing you need to be aware of when meeting Thai women is that you really have to be considerate about Thai culture, and Thai lifestyle customs. What that means is that if you feel like getting 'touchy' or 'feely' then it's important to 'think it through' a little beforehand.
You see, in Thailand there's very little display of public affection. I mean, sure there's hand holding, and so on, but it'd be a rare sight to see any Thai people hugging and kissing each other. Granted, I'm sure there's a lot of young people who desperately want to change this way of life. Nevertheless, in Thailand it's much better to do as the Thais do, especially when it comes to being affectionate in public.
So, what this means is that if you're with a Thai woman, you want to keep this in the back of your mind. Because how Thai people 'see' you (not just how you look 'physically') is a lot more important to the Thais - than how you may be viewed back home. You may find too, that with the English language only spoken fluently by a small percent of Thai people, that they often end up innocently judging you on 'how' you look.
