The Pearl Shoal Waterfall is one of the most beautiful sites in Jiuzhaigou, with an altitude of 2,433 metres (7,980 ft) and a height of 21 metres (69 ft) meters. On the top of the waterfall, it measures 162.5 metres (533 ft) in width. With a fall of 40 metres (130 ft), the waterfall has a shape of the crescent.
